I’ve been on Taurine for last 3 months. I’m a pre-hypertension individual and my observations are that it has helped me with staying calm in stressful situations, maintaining energy levels throughout the day, improvement in clarity of thoughts and improvement in physically demanding situations (i can enjoy a 500kms motorbike ride right after work without much fatigue). I’m 40 years old, smoke and drink mild beer on weekends. Hope this review helps people 😇

I found on the internet: Noteworthy that taurine and beta alanine antagonize each other, supplementing taurine for a while without minding beta alanine can cause beta alanine depletion.
I had after two months taking 3 g Taurine per day that I was feeling tired. Maybe it was unrelated, What dosage beta alanine would be advisable (70 years old healthy man)?

I'm pretty sure that it degrades heavily in food when cooked. I'm pretty sure it needs to basically be raw meat to get the taurine needed. That's why supplementation is a must

I'm taking Taurine and "Cocoon" it isn't. If there is any difference in my energy levels, it is subtle. I MIGHT be sleeping a LITTLE better. Not that I plan to stop taking it. Basically the logic is that it is probably not going to do any harm, and if it has health benefits remotely like what it has in laboratory animals, it might be worth the money.

Do I really need to take Beta Alanine as well? I've been taking 500 mg per day of Taurine for 2 months now and I've never felt this good in my whole life (Im 69) it's a real game changer for me - will I notice any symptoms indicating that I'm low in beta alanine?

I take a gram of Taurine along with 2.5 gm of Beta Alinine mixed with Green Tea.
