6:08 this is one of the reasons why Mitchie Brusco is a legend. at just 15 years old, he had the presence of mind to block the camera.

Danny way took his next run after that slam and won the comp. Unbelievable really.

That slam by Eliot sloan just goes to show how small the margin for error can be, just leant back a tiny tiny bit too much, these guys are true athletes

Everyone is a legends in this video, only through crashes like this it’s possible to move the sport forward as they did. Best wishes to them.

When you see that last one you gotta think, he got 15 feet in the air and hit near the bottom of the ramp, he was falling at roughly 22 miles an hour a second with the force of gravity being 9.8

Been skateboarding casually since around 1994-95. Always been my favorite sport. I raced BMX until I joined the Army also. But man, watching Big Air was always hard for me because those slams really made me sick. I've seen a-lot of crazy/gory stuff in real life but slams are just gnarly as f*ck for me. The fact some of these guys even get up afterwards and walk away blows my mind all over again.

Skaterboarders will always be the most rad dudes in all of action sports, from flatground to big air.

Man, I remember watching that last one on tv. I was glued to the screen, waiting to see if he would move. Thought he was dead for a second, the way we went totally limp after smashing his head. Totally brutal.

I've messed up my tailbone a couple times growing up and it hurts so bad.... and the pain and nerves flares up every now and then when u sit too long. Especially on planes. It's an injury that keeps on giving

Bobs a freaking legend, one of my dreams is to skate his megaramp and film there, that is if I ever get good enough or confident enough to do it and if he would let me, these guys go so big for our entertainment, absolutely incredible, by the way if anyone in this community sees this comment, I'll mention it incase you missed the news XGAMES JAPAN IS COMING SOON :D

I remember watching Jake’s slam live on tv. After all this time I still can’t watch that. I was at x games when Danny slammed. These guys are insane athletes.

I don’t think anyone really understands how insane it was that Jake browns shoes blew off the way they did. As someone who watched it live it’s still the craziest part about the fall too me… Just try to process how much force is take to send 2 object attached to the same body in 2 directions, opposite of the original direction they’re flying. You can’t even bounce shoes like dropping them empty.

Jake kicked his board out before being in the air so he pretty much jumped away from the vert section.
