In this episode, I discuss the idea of having children if you struggle with OCD & Anxiety. This topic is particularly relevant for me as my wife recently gave birth to our first daughter. It is common for people with OCD & Anxiety to wrestle with the idea of having children. They will often doubt their capabilities or even go as far as to question the morality of having children because they struggle with mental illness. So in this episode, I share my personal thoughts on the issue and offer some practical considerations for people who are struggling with this question. Enjoy!

I’ve had intrusive thoughts on this which constantly leaves me doubting myself like I keep thinking I’m not capable of having a family and kids because of what goes on in my head. Thank you for this video🙏🏽❤️

I will never judge but I know how much suffering ocd, anxiety, depression and stress has caused me physically and mentally. Ocd can be passed down to kids genetic wise . I just can't imagine possibly giving this to kids . I think having kids is out for me unfortunately

Congrats! I have a son too 👌 ocd is also called doubt disease so I really understand this video. But what you tell about the therapist at 3:20 is just so bad. I think thats one of the worst therapists out there!

Do you still struggle with pure ocd or could you say you feel like a person who does not have this disease anymore?
