And so, Kpop stans and their delusion about ANY company being good comes to an end. SM, HYBE, and JYPE all showed their true colors in 2024. And we all know what YG is like anyways. Plus, everyone knows a good deal about the smaller companies too. Now, y'all can stop being the company stans and actually start caring about idols again.

When I heard the news I was so flabbergasted that I had to take a walk around the whole damn house cuz WDYM THEY WENT THROUGH ALL OF THIS?? I’ve been a Vlight since the show first began and I’ve always supported the girls because they’re all so talented but also young and they needed protection. I never thought something so horrible would come out of JYP. KG was very articulate in her post and I’m very proud of her for coming out and saying all of that. I hope they win the lawsuit and all the girls get out.

1:26 that's absolutely horrible, the fact that Kaylee is only 14 she's still a minor & she already has su1c1dal thoughts & attempted?!. I felt so bad for her & the other members, i hope they seek mental help because being that su1c1dal at a young age is NOT okay. I hope the vcha members win their lawsuit & wish the best for them. People need to understand that being under a big 3 doesn’t always mean that you can’t be mistreated and that your life will be perfect. There are many idols smiling in front of cameras to make fans happy while their own lives are pure disasters.The fact that there are some people definding JYP really shows that the real problem is not only the company but fans in generals too especially those who encourage this type of disgusting behaviours saying that it is "normal" and just a "process". No one deserved such treatment; most of the girls in this group are minors with the youngest being 15 they shouldn’t have gone through all this. The fact they were forced to live in millions $ house just to increase their rent and put cameras to control their eating habit and hear their conversations make this even crazier. Being mistreated is not only physical it can also be mental. I hope they are all safe now and I wish them the best.

I really hope the hanni law(which is a law proposed for ALL kpop idols to be recognized as official workers of the labor force to have more rights in S.Korea) gets approved fast!!! This is the reason why this should be institutionalized, artists have little to no human rights especially minors and foreign idols with nothing protecting them legally!! It's always a losing game for artists versus companies (take example, MadeIn Gawon case where she is losing the lawsuit). Always artists over inhumane companies!!!

I hope bigger and more established groups speak out too. There is no way to justify this bullshit. Like enough Korean celebrities haven't taken their lives already. There is a huge problem in this industry.
