Why is the korean netizens is fast on calling out and cancelling Idols who is involved in school bullying but turns to the other way when the company is the bully and the idol is the victim

Fans are not ready for idols to speak up as they call them brats snd liars but I admire all the idols that speak up about bullying, mistreatment and any kind of problems they face. They shouldn't just endure everything that the company put them through.

The fact that Koreans accept slave labor and psychological abuse as NORMAL FOR THE KPOP INDUSTRY and that Americans are weak for not being able to endure it is so typical of the world we live in. It's bullying behavior and I expect nothing less than that from the Kpop industry and its fans. No one is weak for not wanting to endure abuse for their dreams. There is a difference between hard work and psychological torment, abuse, and manipulation. The system has been broken for a long time and every REAL Kpop fan knows that and hates that ... I think KG thought she was above what she clearly would know was the norm ... Maybe she thought she'd be treated better as an American ... It doesn't matter who you are. The Kpop system is about exploiting minors, making money, and they don't see them as anything other than assets they can exploit. The fact that they thought they could get away with it again just speaks to their confidence and arrogance. I feel bad for her and I hope she gets out of her contract. Chuu and so many others have fought and won but the industry will never change.

Didn't JYP say that Kaylee was on a break for medical reasons? Did she try to unalive herself? My poor baby girl. I hope they all get the support and help they need to get healthy mentally and physically.

Man JYP USA entertainment can’t get out of this situation since they are going to spread lies to KG’s lawsuit, but seriously the K-pop industry has been bad in the first place many years ago and they never change I mean despite that I like K-pop songs, it’s very disappointing

So this is why "Idols" always look like they have not eaten in weeks. They always look famished, when food is shown. Bless their hearts. I hate that they must go through these vigorous and might I say, inhumane practices. I hope this suit brings about change.

Even if all companies do these kinds of mistreatment occasionally, IT DOES NOT JUSTIFY that this is “the right” or “the common” thing to do!!

Person who who comment that idols are weak by not following strict rules, forgot that they are not robots but humans and these are basic rights.

THIS is how you terminate a contract. Fight the agency in court to avoid penalties (only if the company is in the wrong), or pay the penalties and leave, or wait until the contract is over and not renew it. I hope KG wins the lawsuit. #JusticeForVCHA

Well this isn't the first story an Idol who suffers these mistreatment from the Kpop Industry, at last she's speaking up about, I wish a lot of luck for KG and the rest of the members.

I respect KG for doing a lawsuit & JYP sounds like a slavery and bullying institution

She straight up exposed JYP. It's not surprising, back in the day, an English teacher of the Wonder GIrls was also pretty shocked how they were living in America. Sub par living conditions.

I love the girls and I'm literally sad about this incident, not seeing them together anymore bothers me a lot, but she's not wrong

you can "diet" and still eat healthy as an athlete does. This is nothing new. I'm mystified as to why JYPE and other companies in this day and age do not have a sports nutrition specialist on staff to map out meal plans to keep them healthy while having energy to workout and still lose "fat". Sounds like they just have morons who think the way to lose weight is to starve. 🤔 Never withhold water while working out. So many children have died from this. Unacceptable. 😡

That one thing about a member attempting to off during February shocked me. It was the time when they were performing at Twice’s concert late Feb and right after Kaylee went into hiatus while the others still performed😞😞

This not only makes me worry for VCHA, it makes me worry for all groups under JYP and generally all korean idols and actors. This is abuse and it should NOT be normalized at all.
