Why I dislike (modern) Dyson vacuum cleaners/why you shouldn’t buy one

I got a Dyson ball multifloor in the shop today and I discovered that that whole center cylinder was clogged. So, I had to use several methods to flush all that crap out so it’ll run properly again. My methods included washing it out with a garden hose or sink faucet and my other method included using plastic silverware 🥄🍴to break down and scoop the crap out then flush it with the sink faucet or garden hose. These methods did succeed. Now, when I look through there, I can see the cyclone holes clearly, I originally couldn’t. Also, this video is a PSA to not vacuum up liquids with anything that is not a shop vac(with the filter removed first), carpet shampooer, or floor scrubber. Not only do you risk damaging the electronic components, but also, liquids cause any dry particles you vacuum up afterwards to stick to the inside, much like how all that crud got stuck in that inner cylinder and it just accumulated over time because the previous didn’t bother to check that and just gave it up when I started to lose suction and probably said “never loses suction, that sticker is the biggest scam I’ve ever seen, I’m buying something that actually stays true to that.” Good thing she stopped using it once that happened, because if she used it any longer, that clog would’ve put a strain on the motor, and that intense pressure would cause it to overheat and eventually cease operating completely and then it would most likely end up in the garbage.
