This man was one of the top guitarist EVER. When EVH wants to take a lesson from him, you must be a special talent, and he was. His session work and solo career was unmatched. This cruel disease took everything but his ability to play his guitar. Playing his guitar was eternally locked inside his soul and it never left him.
