The instructions say wash with dish soap, dry, place on medium-low heat, coat with thin layer of oil, leave on heat for 2-3 min and that’s it.

You’re not supposed to put it in the oven to season. You use low to medium heat for 2 minutes

You don’t have to season just warm up the pan on the stove with a lite coat of oil dial back the heat and then cook

This pan doesn’t need to be seasoned. Contrary to what people tell you. Don’t put it in the dishwasher or use metal utensils on it either. And if you do, don’t use scraping motions.

Hexclad doesn't say to put it into an oven. Spread the oil, put on your stovetop and heat on medium low for a couple of minutes and that should do it.

It comes ready to go. Don't listen to this guy. I haven't seasoned any of mine. A little butter or oil before anything you eat goes a long way.

Yeah. Don't do this! I tried it and the oil will burn and stick to the metal surface. Pls follow the instructions in your box and drop a table spoon of oil to a med hot pan, and rub in with a paper towel.
