This is basically what I've seen of Christians. I worry the majority are not saved :( I wasn't raised a Christian and after I was saved my life was changed forever. I want to read the bible and learn more about God and pray and live as he has told us to live. I think one of the most dangerous places to be lost is in American where anybody basically can be "saved"

Why is the term Evangelical used in reference to followers of Jesus Christ?

At my last fellowship if they wanted to illustrate a point they'd use a clip from a movie before they'd quote from the scriptures, they thought people weren't understanding enough to cope with it being shown biblically. Christians are being dumbed down by listening to the guy at the front instead of being a Berean and "seeing if these things are so". I respect Jeff massively as he backs up what he says.

It always surprises me how backwards Americans interpret English. The Holy Spirit is, as the name suggests, a spirit not a person.

Only 3000 were polled, I wish they would have polled more. Which evangelicals were polled? The term "evangelical" is too broad. My point, I think it is way worse than these polls suggest.

You lost me on the last one. Jesus wasn’t created by God? I know he is God so you can’t create yourself but he sent his son so he put Jesus in the world . I’m confused 🤷‍♂️

I think the results of the last one is just a mixture of ignorance and/or the tricky wording. I think their intention was just to say Jesus is the greatest being, period. Because they might have taken it in such a way that they are saying that they DONT believe Jesus is the greatest being if they answered differently.

Hey guys I don’t know if you will see this or reply but I sure hope so. I’ve been at a crossroads for a long time now. Fighting against the doctrines of grace and reformed theology, but it’s getting to overwhelming. I guess my question is how did you all handle coming to that knowledge of god electing some and not others?? I pray so earnestly that my children and family be the elect. That’s my biggest fear. Can anyone else relate? I encourage them to read the Bible. I’m always trying to lead by example. I’m just so fearful of election and I find it hard to accept it, but I do see that it’s biblical. Any suggestions??
