Thank you. As a small built, older woman this would work on some smaller logs too. 👍🏽 you probably saved some backs!

The phone saw its life flashing before its eyes when that log fell 😅

Don't ask me how I know. That's very really assuring and don't worry it happens to most of us. 😂🤣

The stuff you show always seems to be wicked simple and practical. Gotta good laugh at the end of this one.

Man this channel always answers the wild what if scenarios in the woods. Really love the vid about not having a cup in the wild for drinking water, dude carves out a bowl in a log

Pretty good, but you really don't need the first two half-hitches.

The timber hitch was designed for this task for even bigger logs pulled by horses and prevents the knot from tightening to the point it needs cutting.

Just wrap a bite around the working end then take the standing end and wrap it around itself 3-6 times.

Do the same wrap near the end of the log or even two if it's really big.

If you don't want to use a slipped bowline, a Marlin Spike Knot works great and comes right out when you're done.

I've used that to drag around a lot of timber and never had an issue.

I say again this is probably the best channel out there that actually teaches you things you may need to know. Many others want to talk about today’s events behind a chair and give their opinions of what is going to happen next month. Another channel that is very good is David West he teaches you 50 different ways to make a fire !

Yeah there you go again with another one of your cool videos!
One thing that makes this one really cool is how useful it can be!

That "don't ask me how I know " said it all. Experience is a fantastic but cruel teacher.
