Moving heavy gym equipment? Work smarter not harder.

Home gym tip of the week: use furniture sliders to move heavy equipment around the gym. They’re inexpensive ($12 for a 4 pack) and much safer than trying to lift, drag, or otherwise move large equipment by yourself. Link in bio if you want to check them out.
A big thanks to @basementbrandon who sold me on the usefulness of these when I was making some major changes to my gym.

Lol the way you tipped it over at the start stressed me out but I guess low centre of mass keeps it from falling over

Thanks to your Instagram post on this, I picked up some sliders and moved my Bells of Steel lat pull-down/low row yesterday!

Wouldn't have thought the sliders would work on rubber flooring. Thanks for the tip!

Last summer I was pushing racks like this at my semi-trailer and made injury into my shoulder . Dont pushing, safer is pulling

I shifted a wardrobe by putting webbing straps around it and then attaching that to a dip belt around the small of my back. Both hands were free to aid shifting and stabilizing it.

I tried this with my Titan Fitness X-3 flat foot ( on sleds ) power rack and the furniture sliders kept coming out from under the sleds. I mean, every time a moved it a few inches, at least one would pop out and I had to use a crow bar ( all I had ) to lift the sled high enough to put it back underneath. My gym flooring is made up of 4x6 stall mats.

My functional trainer is over 700 lbs. iv’e got the Inspire FTE (not the 2.0. That has 160 lbs weight stacks) with two 215 lbs weight stacks, and made with 11 gage steel. It ain’t moving an inch.
