Tread lightly on the Hero Archetype part. I did this, made him feel like man and it backfired. Do not give men anything they haven't earned. If you express admiration just to make him feel better you're getting him addicted to instant gratification without doing anything. This will make him lazy and tyrannical and then when he doesn't get it he might throw temper tantrums, take revenge cz now he's addicted to getting main character treatment for merely existing. Make sure that your compliments are based in reality. Many men want to FEEL like heroes, they dont want to BE heroes as that's a difficult responsibility, they may want shortcuts instead.
Do not chase fantasies, be grounded in reality for your own safety, ladies.
