I genuinely believe that the subtle saucer light should be the default light that they use because it gives off more light than any other light in the game and it doesn't interfere with styles you're going for because it's not like you'll see it anyway and you can change the colour of the lighting to look warmer if you want it to feel like a candlelit vibe but still save money

Challenge idea: Millionaire's tiny home. Simple premise; make a tiny home that costs (at least) a million.

Whenever Lilsimsie does a "renovate by EA restrictions" build I always think about how it follows game logic but not real life logic.
It's so expensive to move and paint walls irl-

Kayla I think you need to build less base game only houses and just have fun with all the packs. Your builds are great, but even better when there are no pack restrictions 😍 I totally understand and appreciate why you do base game only though!

I vote for a whole basegame + one pack starter home series going back through each of the packs. Would kind of be nice to revisit them and rediscover forgotten items.

You should do a "realistic" renovation on say a derelict build from the gallery. And you can only do realistic changes, like maybe take down a wall or two, add a modern extension etc. No changing all the windows (unless theyre a similar size) no entire new floors etc etc....

Every once in a while I encounter a house irl that seems like it came from the EA team. Super high walls but no aesthetic value to the increase in height. Tiny or absent windows. No overhead lighting. 😱

I just noticed that's a starter home in Brindleton Bay :D I was obsessed with that pack for so long and only lived in that world so I've spent a lot of time in that house lol.

My dogs would always somehow get stuck in the ceiling upstairs.😔

Ok but the shell of the house at first is actually kinda cute, but the inside is so empty and embarrassing..

A couch would be lighter to run than a plant because a plant has more details and what you call in 3D modeling as "polygons"

kayla, if you are considering new video ideas i would love to see a series where you go back and fix up all the building challenge houses youve made. just renovate them and make the fit your expectations without the challenege rules

I did this challenge with this house a few days ago and I ended up deleting the entire upper floor and stairs and making it waayyy smaller!! It was the only way I could find to make it cozy.
