Ukraine's president wants to meet with Putin to resolve conflict

World leaders gathered in Germany this weekend for the annual Munich Security Conference. While there, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he wants to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the conflict between their two countries. Zelensky also said sanctions on Russia should be made public before a possible invasion of Ukraine. CBS News foreign correspondent Christina Ruffini gives an update.

He didnt ask to put sanctons on Russia, he simply said, if you say that that the war is going to start at any moment now then sanctions should have already been placed on Russia as a preventative of that war because to place samctions after the war has begun and his country i in ruin then its all pointless.

He makes sense. There has been no addressing the Russian aggression at all. The talks are to avoid a war but the aggression has to be addressed or we lose even more credibility.
