God is so AMAZING. I was just having this debate with my gay daughter who thinks I traded my drug addiction with an addiction to Christ. She blames my drastic change in actions and opinions on mental illness. I'm a farley new Christian and didn't quite know how to answer this question, thank you my brother your ministry has truly blessed and helped me overall in my walk with Christ

Its amazing so many people have this issue.. its simple, repent and turn to God and receive His grace!
Edit: I stand by what I said..why? Because all God wants is a little bit of faith, He will take care of the rest.

I've never blamed God for my problems, they are my own.

If our sins have led to others to sin then we might also have the blood of hundreds and thousands on our hands as well. So while we might have been stopped in death the consequences of our sins remain alive and on going.

I would never bow at the feet of anyone who would have that sort of control over me. Question belief, folks. It'll spare you a lot of anxiety and shame. I was raised in this stuff. Never been more free since embracing the fact that I simply don't know.

Yes. it's mostly because doesn't matter what type of sin if you never stop and live a sinful life. The point is to repent.

1. Our justice system is f'ed up, I wouldn't accept that as any sort of standard. And his next two points point not to a "just creator" but a narcissistic being.

Aim for grace so we dont have to be on the receiving end of God's justice.

What many people including Christians seem not to realize is, we aren't damned to hell simply cos of our sins, but rather for our lack of remorse for our sins.
Cos we all sin weather we be Christian or not. But, the difference in being Christian is we acknowledge our sins and ask forgiveness from God and in return forgive others who do bad to us. That is why righteousness is granted to us cos the only reason we do this is cos Jesus told us to, and therefore by doing so we acknowledge him as the Messiah.
That's why Paul even wrote "it is not the people who know or have the law, but rather the people who do the law of Jesus will be the ones justified in the final judgement".
So you might be from another religion even, but if you truly repent for your sins and forgive others or in other words "love thy neighbor as thyself" then Jesus will intervene on your behalf even, cos you fulfil his law and also cos he intervenes for sins committed unknowingly too, just as he did on the cross for the very people who crucified him.

Here's a good analogy of why we are punished eternally. If I lie to my children it's not that big of a deal, if I lie to my wife I'll be sleeping on the couch. If I lied to a cop I'll get a ticket, if I lie to a judge I'll go to jail and if I lied to God I go to hell. In other words the greater The Authority the greater the punishment. Since God is eternal, his punishment must be eternal
