HELLO DDR'S (Dedicated Description Readers)!!

WOW!! This has been an eventful, yet extremely emotional month for me... I'm sorry for keeping y'all in the dark for so long, but I promise my next video will be an update about what's been going on in my life. I've been putting it off because it's very difficult to be vulnerable on the internet and I wanted to make sure I was in a better frame of mind before I put anything negative out there. TBH, I don't like being negative online at ALL, but I feel it's important that I share this with you. Sometimes it's important to share our lows. That's all I'll say for now.

Not sure if this counts as an easter egg, but here are some videos from Florida last week.
I got to watch a good friend launch to space and it was pretty incredible! I REALLY REALLY want to do that but the odds of it happening in the near future are now quite low... It might need to shift to being an "end goal" for me instead of a hustle, but I won't give up until it happens!

I just love the fact that Charlie is correcting all of the bad things Alastor is saying, with good things.
Alastor: "We'll make them pay!"
Charlie: "They'll want to stay." (Like paying to stay in the hotel)

The writing that was put into this was very well done, and how it almost ALL rhymed as well and still fit well with the general theme of the story is so amazing!

Ok that’s a pretty great line that got a little laugh out of me. This whole song was actually really great

just noticed this- "menu free a la carte" in Hell's Greatest Dad COULD be a reference to the line "serve them a la carte" in this song... OR its a big coincidence, but I'm going to believe that was done intentionally when season one came out

They just nailed Charlie and Alastor's motivations here. Charlie wants to rehabilitate sinners in a good way because she is moralistic and wants to see her people happy. She wants the hotel to succeed because it would mean success for her and her people. Alastor wants to help Charlie because he wants to see her and the clients to fail and suffer. He wants the hotel to succeed so that it fails later on he gets the satisfaction that he wants himself. But both need the hotel to succeed to reach their objectives, even if they differ completely in their motivation. Their motivations are opposite and won't be able to both be fulfilled at the same time. Only one of them can thrive over the other, but they need to be together so that they can reach that checkpoint first.
