What is Denuvo?

Denuvo is anti-temper technology. Recently a cracker group claimed that they are bypassed this system.

There are a lot of situations in which you can't buy a game, even having money, for example: don't have international credit card, don't have good internet, you are a kid without money, etc, etc, etc.

I knew Diablo 2, Baldur's Gate, Age of Empire, for free as a child, now I'm fan of those sagas and I bought them, and still buying similar games as Pillars of Eternity, Starcraft, Warhammer, etc, just because I became fan for free.

If I were grew up in a world "free of piracy", I would never get into those amazing games, never a fan, and probably today I would be a casual-browser-gamer, or not being a gamer at all, with other hobbies.

But this whole thing is unnatural, 1st, they are installing unwanted software (I don't want to buy nothing with Denuvo because they don't share how it works and may be harmful for my computer). By other side, software is the only "cultural" thing that can't be *shared* as literature, music, movies, and those other cultural manifestations still better than ever, right?

The whole anti-piracy claims has no meaning at all, and anti-piracy systems may be, also, illegal.

Awesome vid, even though it's a bit dated, since games, like the Hitman series, ADRIFT, DOOM, and INSIDE, to name a few got Denuvo removed from them.
