ANOTHER Tesla Model Y Delivery Inspection @ Devon, PA - REJECTED! (Pre-Purchase Tesla Inspection)

So I offer this service for clients that book PPF & Ceramic Coatings with us. I have had several clients take delivery of vehicles that should have had no business passing QCC or PDI by the dealership. (Tesla is NOT the only guilty party of this. It's EVERY dealership)

I found impact damage on this vehicle in 2 places.

1. The driver's A-Pillar is just above the door has a vertical drop ding. The crease it created was really tight and would have never come out with PDR (which is usually the judge in which I tell people to accept or not) and would have required to be painted. That means the brand-new car, has panels that won't match in color.

2. The passenger front corner of the panoramic sunroof has been damaged. Something VERY heavy dropped and drug across the front of this. So much so it created a visible height difference vs the drivers side. For something to gouge and cut glass - that needs to be a ton of force.

The dealership was absolutely fantastic with the client and were totally understanding. They put the client back into the queue for another vehicle and he received a new delivery date approximately 3 weeks later.

I took my Y performance yesterday, drove about 165 miles and "vehicle may not re-start " comes on. Excellent service from 3 different stores, but Tesla needs some quality

We are taking delivery of our MYLR today. We originally wanted white interior but couldn’t find one in inventory that would be delivered by 31 March to take advantage of the tax credit. Long and behold, today I jump on the TESLA website and find one exactly how we wanted and available at the same service center we are taking delivery at.

My question is: if the service center refuses to change the order to the new VIN, could I refuse delivery and request that they assign the one I found to my purchase? We already signed the purchase agreement, but are happy to pay the extra for white interior.

Here in Arizona you can only inspect outside of the vehicle, then you must accept delivery before you can get inside. Any suggestions as to how people could first check all inside fit and finish before accepting delivery?

What can I do if I have to reject a car, but already signed funded by my credit union and paid Tesla? Do I need to give the credit union a new VIN? Can they transfer VINs?

Very nice video.
I was going to pick up my MYLR and Tesla told me one day before that the glass roof was cracked. They sent my photos and it has a little bump in the middle of the glass.
What would you do in this situation? Tesla is going to replace the whole glass roof but it hass passed almost 2 weeks and they don’t receive the glass…
