Interviewing is not easy for everybody. But should one or two interviews completely define you?

There are people who would be a great fit for your job who maybe aren't great at interviewing and there are also people who are great at interviewing but would not be a great fit for the role.

Ask the right questions, and look at experience, people are more than an interview!

Reasons we did not hire some people based on their interview:
Didn't seem to work well inn teams, didnt smile at all. Didn't seem very interested in what we are doing. Had very bad English/ hard to communicate with. Seemed like more work to take them on, then help longrun.

So true! I know I’m a good employee and management at my company knows this too. For formality purposes, I had to interview for a management position but I crushed it but not in a good way. I found myself saying I don’t know during the interview 🤯

Thankfully the ED and my director know my work and looked past it offering me the job.

Very true. I just want to go in and let employers know that I work my ass off while taking the business seriously. If you put trust in me to do my job I'm going to do it. Your name is on that job title. If you do bad it tarnishes your name.

This is why I can't get jobs outside hospitality. I freeze. I can't think of anything

I'm still waiting for a hiring. I've interviewed over 100 times over the last few years since graduating from University. The thing that irritates me the most is I get ZERO help on why I wasn't selected. I almost always get an email (that won't get answered if I email them back) saying I didn't get the job but with zero idea on how I can improve myself to get that job later on.
