I had a black cat when younger named Bagheera, I called him Bags, that ran off one day for whatever reason. I had been long since living from my parent's. 6 years later, my mom called me and said "some black cat with scars showed up. We're feeding him but he won't let us touch him".

I drive to their house and as soon as he saw me he pounced on me, in the best of ways. I don't know what he went through in those 6 years but he still loved me as much as I loved him.

My deaf cat went missing, so i spent night after night(8pm to 4am), walking the streets with red bike lights on my back and front flashing away, with an illuminous jacket and reflective stripes, looking like a complete nut case (i didnt care what anyone else thought!), all because he was deaf and you cannot call out for him, so i knew it was going to be darn difficult, near impossible even... But i was so so very dedicated it actually worked...!!!. I heard his cries (which all his noises sounded weird because obviously he cannot hear his own voice, like a born that way, deaf person cant either !) as he came running out of someone's very long driveway... I could tell he was extremely excited to have found me as he made strange noises all the way home as i cuddled him. He also had his claws out (not loads) almost like he didn't want to let go!. You cannot believe how well i slept that night, all while he cuddled up to me the whole night (after having a small feed first, then more a little later as i didnt want to overwhelm his system). I will never forget that night !. 😄
Hes passed on now though, poor baby!!!. 😿

I've had Dobermans, Chihuahuas, and German Shepard. They often jump or find their ways out of the fence but always came home scratching the door. I was only affraid of them getting run over, but not being lost. The first thing they would do is run straight to my room even I'm not aroaund.
