I have a red phantom female who has a massive head and all her babies have giant bulldog heads. They look like your soft scale. I love them so much!

My girl is a red bicolor, and I think she is a soft scale. She fires up to a deep bright red, and even fired down she is always a nice orange. Her scales seem farther apart, though I haven't looked with a magnifying glass yet. Also, at 9 months she is 30 grams.

Loved the video! Although a few things on patternless... patternless geckos are phantoms. Phantom is recessive. It is a trait that mutes top coat pattern. In some phantoms, we can even see very faint patterning that is a similar color to the base color, which makes it blend with the animals base making it hard to see. Even though it isn't very visible or present, pstternless animals still genetically have "pattern" and can produce high pattern offspring. They're not necessarily a clean slate gecko, as they can still contribute to pattern and color, AND they can still have other genetics that may not be visible or clear that will effect the offsprings phenotypes. Phantoms are a very underrepresented trait, and breeding to phantoms is cool to see what babies look like, but they're not a true clean slate. Just a bit of clarification, as patternless used to be seen as it's own morph, but that is now known not to be true, and it is simply phantom. If anyone is interested to learn more check out pangeas video and read foundation genetics. It is incredibly helpful and worth a read/watch

I have a male RTB that looks exactly like the second one and I didn't have a clue what to match it with. I wanted to make solid reds.

Are there any other good places to look for geckos besides morph market and through insta?

Is there a way to tell what morph you have without knowing their lineage?

What happens when you breed a tiger and lily white together?

I heard somewhere that you shouldn’t handle cresties that much. Thoughts?

I have a red crested gecko but he has Dalmatian spots. I do have a lavender but she’s not very fancy she’s more grey and goes brown when she fires up
