Utah Valley University Aviation Science

UVU is considered the third largest collegiate aviation program in the U.S. based on student enrollment. Utah Valley University

The University traces its origin to 1941 when Central Utah Vocational School was established as part of the Provo school district and was charged with providing vocational education for the region. It became a state institution in 1945, and in 1953 the name was changed to the Utah Trade and Technical Institute. In 2008, Utah Valley State College became Utah Valley University. Utah Valley now enrolls over 24,000 students and is ranked among the top five comprehensive public universities in the West by U.S. News & World Report.
