Utah Valley University Aviation Science
UVU is considered the third largest collegiate aviation program in the U.S. based on student enrollment. Students training at our Provo, Utah facility have the opportunity to fly in the safest, most advanced equipment available. Utah Valley University
The University traces its origin to 1941 when Central Utah Vocational School was established as part of the Provo school district and was charged with providing vocational education for the region. It became a state institution in 1945, and in 1953 the name was changed to the Utah Trade and Technical Institute. In 2008, Utah Valley State College became Utah Valley University. Utah Valley now enrolls over 24,000 students and is ranked among the top five comprehensive public universities in the West by U.S. News & World Report.
