Marr really did stand out in the Dark Council. He didn't give a shit about Sith politics, he just did what was necessary to defend the Empire and died for it.

I think Marr would have made a great emperor.

In my opinion Marr stands for what the Sith should be: Passionate, Driven, Selfless. Not the best people person but he took the self serving sith and tried to turn them into something more. I may not agree with everything he believes but he was a respectable being.

Darth Marr: a Sith whose sense of patriotism and loyalty to his people redeemed him from the grasp of the Dark Side. He stood before his Emperor, faced him down and said "no". He choose defiance rather than sublimation, freedom for his Empire rather than slavery, and thus rose beyond any of his fellow Sith.

Ruthless, but fair. Always did like him.

Darth Marr. A legend that was a bigger badass than Valkorion could ever dream of being.

Although he was a Sith, I still think of him as one of the good guys.

Marr proved that being a Sith does not necessarily make one evil. Marr practiced the dark side of the Force for decades, but he didn't care for the infighting that plagued the Order of the Sith Lords. He cared about the Sith Empire and it's people. So much so that he was willing to die to defend it and that is exactly what he did. Darth Marr is the greatest Sith that ever lived.

The true Champion of the Empire and a man for the people. Marr is the epitome of everything that a Sith should aspire to be: courageous, ruthless, powerful, honest. When "Valkorion" killed him, I'm not going to lie, I cried a little bit. He deserved better than that bullshit but he died fighting relentless for what believed and for the future and the people of the Empire.

"I WILL NEVER AGAIN KNEEL TO YOU!.... It is YOU who fears death, Valkorion. I will NOT kneel"-Darth Marr

I want the Empire's Wrath to bring me the head of that cowardly piece of shit who somehow keeps on living, Vitiate.

While many Sith lords wanted power just for power sake, Darth Marr never lost sight of why he wanted the power. Everything he did, he did it for the sake of the Sith Empire and its people... Of all the Sith Lords he was the noblest.

I swore to crush the Eternal Empire and burn Zakuul to a crisp in his name. Imagine my disappointment after I found out that I couldn't do that. :(

The only sith I truly liked in the dark council other than Vowran. Valkorian wil pay for this, you will be avenged Marr.

In truth. He was the best of us with many titles. The most Respected and well known Sith. Warrior, Leader, Tactician, Master, Council Member. and the only person I would Call Emperor. Someone that every Sith, should aspire to. He was not without weaknesses but, they where minimal compared to his presence and actions.

Darth Marr. True leader of the Great Sith Empire

*Salutes*

You will be long remembered, through the thousands of years.

As Darth Nox I was utterly ambitious and arogant towarss other sith. But when I first spoke with him on Makeb I treated him with respect. He gained it without saynig a word, he gianed it due to his actions as THE SITH

Marr is so awesome. I liked him instantly from his few scenes in Annihilation, which was before I'd seen him properly in SWTOR. The idea of a sith who actually cares about the Empire and wants the infighting to end was very interesting. He was off-putting at first in Rise of the Hutt Cartel, but that might be because I had my Imperial Agent antagonize him because she doesn't really like sith. But after her adventures on Makeb, she came to understand him, and I imagined her becoming his champion. I really liked him in Shadow of Revan, and was very upset when he died. And I loved how he was honored with becoming a force ghost, because in the end, he truely was selfless.

The one crucial difference between Marr, and most other Sith, while most sith thought of themselves first and foremost, Marr was thinking of the better interests of the empire. That is what he fought for, every step of the way. A better empire. When he died, it was a selfless act. He did not care if he died, he did not care for his own well being, all he cared about was stopping Valkorian from enslaving the Empire, and he would fight at any cost to keep it safe.

The only Sith to serve the empire before himself.

You can say that Marr suffered the Emperor's disfavor, just as Baras predicted.

He was not a man without weakness, and not a man without fear. But he was a true Sith, this is what a Dark Lord of the Sith should be like, not like palpatine or the dark council members but like Marr, a true warrior

Marr stared down the most powerful being in the galaxy, one who could crush him and his empire with just a command and chose death over servitude.... Many Sith claim to have broken their chains, none truly Marr completed the code, Marr may not have achieved victory, but he broke his chains and the Force freed him.
