This is why Marr is the best of us. He respects the Jedi as opponents, and doesn't completely hate them.

It's interesting that Marr pretty much was the leader of the Empire by this point, yet never attempted to declare himself the new Emperor. The rest of the Dark Council would have tried to take advantage of the situation to formally claim power, but Marr was too busy protecting his people to care about such things. He truly was the best leader the Empire ever had, and ironically the only one who did deserve to be Emperor.

I think this scene also shows how much respect Marr has for your Imperial character. To power down all weapons in the midst of a blood space battle is a huge risk yet on your word he does so. Considering how much respect I hold for Darth Marr, I find this rather touching
