There are no words. You can only experience the spectacle with your own eyes. I traveled 500 miles to see it and would again.

I find myself fortunate to live in the path of totality for the April 8 eclipse in upstate NY and I cannot wait for this experience. Once in a lifetime at my age.

I seriously can't get over this experience. My family and I were actually in the Walmart parking lot in Powdersville not too far south of there, but I came all the way from northern Michigan to see a big rock cover up a big ball of flames, and it was EXTREMELY worth it

This is the best video of the eclipse because you captured the human reaction which is beyond explanation when you’re “there”… plus the darkness. Beautiful job!!!! Thank you!!!!

Good to see a crowd of people get together and cheer together at a rare event.

The crowd I was in was much more muted. We were simply in awe. I cried from the site...the beauty...and felt so small in the universe.

A total solar eclipse occurred on Monday 21 August, 2017 AD, with a maximum eclipse at 18:25:32 UTC. A dramatic total eclipse plunged the Sun into darkness for 2 minutes and 40.12 seconds at maximum, creating an amazing spectacle for observers in a path up to 114.7 km wide. Totality was visible exclusively in USA, so this was Great American Eclipse. Totality began in Pacific Ocean before entering Oregon and ended in Atlantic Ocean after exiting South Carolina. The Sun was 0.527º in diameter, which is 1.2% smaller than average. The Moon was just 3 days past perigee, making it a relatively large. The Moon was 0.535º, which is 2.1% larger than average.

Videos and pictures do NOT do it justice. You MUST see it with your own eyes. I saw it in Idaho but it didn't last this long.

I saw this in Cerulean KY. It not only lived up to the hype, it far exceeded it. I'll be in Minster Ohio on April 8 2024 for the next one.

I saw this from my back yard .. I was 2 miles from center and had 2:32 of totality in Anderson County SC .. I shared the moment with my pups .. I still get goosebumps from that day .. It was eerie !! .. Now I am in the midst of the remnants of Irma ..

I just watched the full eclipse here in South America and it was so cool. Unfortunately in my city it was just 80% but still got dark, but not even close as this video darkness, lol. But looking at the sun and seeing it as a ring of fire was pretty cool
