I Filmed a SOLAR ECLIPSE

Today I went out and filmed a rare cosmic event, the solar eclipse! The ring of fire happened today. I met somebody at the park who showed me where to get my own glasses before capturing the event!

i really wanna thank you for putting the glasses to the camera honestly. the solar eclipse i had the chance to see was when i was back in 2nd grade or so but my teacher was the only teacher in the whole school that kept us in the room to not see it. i didn’t even know there was a solar eclipse that day but again thank you for letting me and maybe others see it for the first time.

I actually got to see it today too! I was right in the path of 100% Totality, so I got like 3 minutes where I could see it without glasses. Absolutely amazing.

I love that you pointed out the shadows. I find it neat that the animals also change. If you listen like 10 min before the birds will quiet and the bugs start their nighttime chirping. It’s amazing. Then they stop as soon as it’s over and the birds return and the bugs quiet. Nature is absolutely neat.
