To take off the caps I actually use a knife. I actually recommend using a knife to take them off as it is much easier, but (obviously) you gotta be careful to not cut yourself. Since I'm right handed, I stabilize the cube with my left, making sure to keep my thumb and fingers off of the side of the cap I'm trying to take off, just in case the knife slips. Then I lightly pull the right layer apart from the M layer, and stick either the tip of the knife or the edge of the blade under the gap between the center and the cap, and then lightly pry it off. Depending on how good you are at doing this, the knife might just slip and not pry the cap, or you might send the cap into lower orbit. If you do it just right, the cap will just pop out, nice an easy, and you can go ahead and adjust the settings :)

I ordered mine nearly a month ago now, the UV coated version apparently had some defects and they are further delayed

I received mine 2 weeks ago, and i kinda like it, although it is incredibly hard to set the cube up, just like most Gan puzzles. I ended up applying gravitas to the tracks and dnm on the pieces. I wouldn’t recommend using dignitas since it makes the cubes turning feel very sluggish, but not in a good way. After adjusting to the cubes very special feel, I still get my average times of around 18 seconds. I hope to improve with it soon. Oh and btw have you experienced logo fading yet? Because the logo on mine is slowly starting to do so.
