If you're curious, the UV coated version probably has a layer of clear epoxy applied to the outside of the pieces, which is then cured with UV light. This is probably done to improve the glossiness of the surface finish or change the tactility, similar to how a layer of epoxy or varnish applied over wood can give the wood a glossy, wet, shiny appearance and make it feel "stickier"

Just got mine today, it’s absolutely incredible. Being completely 100% honest here, within my first 30 solves, got a new pb (11.15), but it was a stupidly lucky solve, so idk how much credit I can give to the cube haha. I have an extremely aggressive turning style, and felt like I had to try to control myself with my previous main, but with this one, I feel like it does exactly what I want it to do. 10/10 I love this cube.

Thank you for making all these amazing videos. I started my cubing journey a year ago an watched so many tutorials, but your video was the only one I understood. Your videos have helped me so much and my record went from 2:42 to 17 seconds in just a couple of months. I’m now revising the cube and hoping for a 15 second average. I need to memorize more algorithms and get better at F2L but someday I’ll get there. I just want to say that you are amazing and I love your videos.

I recently got a GAN 356 XS, and I really love the feel of it. I 100% recommend it for speedcubers that would consider to spend a bit more on a good cube, otherwise I’d recommend the RS3M (really good, but a bit louder)

J perm was right gan actually didn't enough sunshine to make UV coated cubes due to lockdown and 2020 was so rough that they weren't able to make soft coated cubes
