I main the white internal soft version, and it does have a lot of scratches. I prefer it over the frosted tho, because it feels satisfying. I never tried the uv coated.

my main is the white frosted internal version, and I enjoy cubing with it a lot because in my opinion the black in the black internal frosting cube is a bit more distracting

When I got a GAN 249 V2 2x2 Speedcube, I didn’t know the texture because I brought it from Amazon and now, I concluded that it was a frosted texture, as I now see scratches and I can feel the groove with my nails.

I got the soft one and noticed it was more sluggish out of the box too. I think it wore off after I broke it in though and I prefer it over the frosted one for better grip. (Questionable life choices to buy more than one on my part, but alas 😅)

Whatever you get do not get the uv coated one i dont like it at all my cousin had it and its so slippery and it looks bad. Get the frosted black instead. Much better look and performance.
