If I’m Oswald and trying to alert authorities to an assassination attempt, it happens anyway after I’ve alerted them, I start to worry about the peeps I’m working for (FBI/CIA/NIA), and I arm myself.

Just catching up on missed episodes. Kinda curious about what Lady Bird knew and or supported. She seems always portrayed as a great helpmate to husband and wonderful mom, though her daughters admitted to not seeing much of either parent growing up - Dad came first. Since most of the assets wound up in Lady Birds name, and she wasn’t dumb, I would love to see the real story on her. Even the latest books seem sanitized.

It has been noted that Tippit was killed by a .38 semi-automatic. But did anyone prove that Oswald's .38 revolver had not been fired? If Oswald's gun was NOT fired, somebody else had to kill Tippit. "I didn't shoot anyone, " Lee shouted after he was arrested. Maybe he was telling the truth. As a former US government investigator and whistleblower, I think this is a critical piece of evidence in the scenario. Alan E. Diehl, Ph.D.

Dorothy Kilgallen has three children, still living as far as I know: Kerry, Dickie, and Jill Kollmar. Jill is an interior designer living in Beverly Hills and Kerry runs a martial arts school in Georgia. I don't know about Dickie.

RE paraffin test. You can also get nitrates on your hands from being fingerprinted at the cop shop, and the funeral home, like Oswald was. The director at Miller funeral home said that "agents" fingerprinted Oswald after he prepared the body for burial. There is a technique where prints can be put on a card, then applied to a.... mannlicher-carcano.
