Job market is dead if you are in the private sector. According to the stats canada report, only healthcare and education workers are getting hired.

Not good news. It has been like this for the past 2 years. Really should be worried about the future of Canada, if all our hires are government workers, where does the growth come from.

Professional and technical services lost 11, 000 jobs (a high growth sector) in December. Construction is pretty much dead in Canada with high interest rates and no buyers from high growth sectors.
