this is not for theft. this is for storage/parking. it can easily parked near any wall without disturbing pedestrians. it will will save space too.

It's not a anti theft lock, it's just handy in a bicycle parking!

Bicycle parkings are narrow and most of the time the handlebar is too wide!

It's not a good anti-theft system. But being able to swivel the handle bars like that would make putting a bike in my suv much easier!

That's why I always prefer my Raleigh super be with it's locking front fork instead of the handle bar lock

Shouldn’t be able to lock it back up. simple. Obviously if it just keeps spinning you can’t ride it however they will just carry it away still.

lol the fact is it actually works. Just not on the same bike. It also locks the headstem so you can’t turn the forks. It’s also useful for crowded places.

Its not to avoid theft, its so that you can park your bike in tight places where there are other cycles.

Had these on motorcycles for decades, they still don't stop them from being stolen. They snap the pin or the receiver with little effort. A pushbike you can literally pick up and carry though so its kind of redundant.

I don’t think it has anything to do with anti-theft more like storing a bike as those who ride know this is extremely useful if one can turn handlebars like this and the wheel remains straight
