Does Fish Dandruff Hold Clues About Loch Ness?

Last week or so ago I spoke about how DNA from seawater helped find a rare species of shark. Well, Neil Gemmell a professor at Otago University has suggested that we take that same theory to Loch Ness, He just read the comment from Joshua on that video… so really Joshua needs all the credit if this goes ahead.

Anyway, I must state that Neil doesn’t believe in Nessy but he still wants to take the DNA test there…maybe to prove there isn’t a monster in the loch… in fact, that’s more than likely the case on why he’s doing it.

It's videos like this one, that makes me glad I watch all the videos from Simply Scuba. I'd love to visit the loch, and scuba dive there. It's a long flight from Texas, though.

I rewatched the previous video on DNA testing the waters. Shawn, you actually mentioned testing the loch in the video yourself, I was agreeing wholeheartedly with you on the idea. I would still like to make a trip to lochness, though.

I think there is a lockness out in that Ocean. We find new living things out there, all the time. I dont think of it as a monster tho. I think its a living animal from the past. Look how long turtles and sharks live. We dont know how deep the ocean is . If there is such a thing, maby it had off spring, we just dont know. I hope they find out someday, i really would like to know. If there was really such a thing. It would be pretty cool .
