You should do one about Phan Đình Giót, a Vietnamese soldier. During the battle of Điện Biên Phủ, his unit was stopped by an enemy stronghold, so he decided to use his whole body to seal the gun that was shooting toward his friends. It worked though it also cost his life for doing so

During the assult on Him Lam (or Béatrice for French), the Vietnamese vanguard was halted by a number of well-position bunkers. Phan Đình Giót, a soldier of the 58th company, got injured after get pass 2 bunkers, managed to get close to the third by crawling. Without any weapon left, he sacrificed himself by throwing his whole body to seal the arrowslit. The gun got silenced, allowing his comrades to advance foward and finally resulting in the victory in Him Lam/Béatrice for Vietnam
