Based Knights, introducing proto-banking and mobile hospitals (ambulances) even before people came to associate them with the modern era

Don't get me wrong they all have style but the Knights Hospitaller had the most outrageously based style. Black with a white cross. Simply perfect

Finally, some Knights Hospitaller recognition!

I think the Order of St. Lazarus deserves to be higher. Sure, it's not A tier, might not even be C, but they don't deserve the bottom. Many of them were lepers, to the point they were also known as the Leper Brothers of St. Lazarus, yet still they were both hospitalller and chivalric military order. They were operating in a military capacity for roughtly 200 years, only stopping after the the Battle of Acre. That's some pretty damn good durability for an order rife with Leprocy.

And it survived pretty long afterwards, although it no longer operated in direct military capacity (or with as many lepers). The German holdings of the order being amalgamated with the Knights Hospitaller in 1490, while it's iItalian and french branches would be interlinked with the House of Savory in 1572. The French branch lasted all the way to 1608.

Knights Hospitalliers always get my vote. They were the definition of "I'm a doctor, but~"

I love the fact that the templars survived as "the Order of the Knights of Christ" in Portugal and later went to Brazil.

Dammit, my Doctor-Pirate-Knights of St. John deserved better.

Just remember!

Without the Hospitaller Order, there would be no hospitals.

And also remember that a medic KNOWS how to put you down out of your misery.

The Knights Hospitaller was literally God tier.
They crushed the peak Ottomans almost alone, and they are still strong to this day

Teutons spent more time attacking christian villages than doing anything noteworthy during the crusades.

The Templars were betrayed by their own king out of sheer envy.
Rip the best order.

My family used to serve for the order of Santiago

Order of st lazarus shouldve been given more credit. They had leper, a disease that destroys the flesh and brittles the bones, and yet they still mustered the strenght to fight battles. Also, king Baldwin IV, the best king of jerusalem, was a leper.

The Knights Hospitalier were pretty neat. Especially when you learn of their role in defending Malta and the fact they still exist.

P.S. The Knights of Saint John sounds pretty damn cool for a name.

I love to be part of the modern Hospitaller Order. While I might not make it to actually receive Knighthood, I am happy to serve as a Paramedic under the Order of St. John/Johanniter Orden. I have truly never felt this strongly like a welcomed member in any group so far. They thank us for our service regularly, pay well and even personally congratulate us on our birthdays via Postal.

Lazarus order deserved to be higher than teutons probably.
mortally ill knights sacrificing themselves for the christ, they didn’t fought to find riches nor glory. just being humble soldiers.
they are glorious and truly underrated, certainly needing more clout

Personally I think the Hospitallers should be the highest chads because not only do they have drippy style and colors but they were doctors and medics.

Knights Hospitallers definitely need to be higher ranked, especially since they absorbed the surviving Templars and are still running today as the Order of Malta.

I believe knights templar is short for "knights of the temple of Solomon"
