I came up with this idea about 20 years ago, when I was stone one night. I thought it was so obvious and figured they were already doing this. I didn't think it was going to take 20 years for someone else to get high and come up with the idea or I would have said something earlier.

In my opinion, if it were actually good, we wouldn't be seeing this on youtube, it would have been classified untill the development was complete.

As Anduril has pointed out, we won’t win future conflicts with highly specialized, expensive and difficult to manufacture weapons. We win with mass numbers of low cost, easy to manufacture and comparatively cheap weapons. Anduril is the ONLY contractor out there actually concerned with manufacturing capacity. This industrial approach to wars is how we won WWII and we will need that same perspective in a war with China.

Interesting idea but I doubt it will be as efficient as canards. The whole missile will end up having to be used as a lifting body which is much worse aerodynamically it will have much higher lift induced drag
