If a woman in the church has a child that she is not prepared to take care of the child. Then we as members of the church should help her with the choice of life through support or adoption.

I love hearing Father standing up for the image bearers who are in the most dangerous place in the US, a mother's womb.

The incarnation of God the Word began at the moment of conception in the womb of the holy virgin. This is the ultimate hurdle for any Christian who supports abortion.

I've always valued the more nuanced approach of the Orthodox church compared to the Catholic church. If a teen girl is raped and falls pregnant, surely its her choice whether to get an abortion or not. Rape is violent and traumatic. Wouldn't it be right to support her decision, if she wants an abortion? The Catholic church decries her as a murderer, even though she was raped. What does the Orthodox church say?
