Milwaukee makes great tools. I have owned dewault for decades and have never had a problem. I don't care if if one can drive a bolt a little faster honestly.

In my opinion the ergonomics of Dewalt 12v is much better than M12.

I agree with your assessment. I have a lot of Dewalt 20v max tools, but for the small stuff I have all M12. The weight to power ratio on the Fuel impact is amazing, and with those tiny batteries, I can drive fasteners over my head all day with less fatigue. Great for hanging drywall and doing repairs. The speed on that Dewalt 12v was so much slower! I feel good about my choice

Great demonstration. I have Milwaukee but I don't like the way it feels in my hand

My coworker has a lot of the M12 tools. I love how long they last and they are very lightweight. The only problem we have encountered is the drill motor going thru batteries when drilling 1/2" holes. Using the impact on lags...great; using the drill motor on smaller hole size (1/4, 3/8)....great; using the small sawzall....great. I work on elevators and besides the 1/2 holes, the M12 worked great because of the size to power ratio. I have used Dewalt 18 and 20 volt, but not the 12 volt. I like both bit it may come down to price and availability.

Hey Brad! That fourth mode is the tech screw / self tapping mode! No. 1 is the lowest speed, on the M12. Good Bs video. Milwaukee sure puts some power in their tools, but that dang thick handle due to the M12 pod batteries, can be uncomfortable for some. It is even worse for someone with smaller hands. Hope you and Mrs Brad are doing well! 👍😁✌🏻🇺🇸🔨

I have the Dewalt 12 volt 3/8 impact wrench which I really like but I didn't like their 12v driver much and sold it.

Milwaukee has higher rpm lower torque. DeWalt is the opposite. Higher torque lower rpm. I'd take the extra 150 inch pounds of torque that DeWalt has at 1450 vs Milwaukee at 1300 inch pounds. Much better ergonomics of the tool with the slide under battery vs the barrel style of the Milwaukee. Much better lighting on the DeWalt. And $160 for two 2ah batteries charger tool and bag. Can't beat it in the US market for 12v tools. I have this impact and it is my go to for 95 percent of the work I do. My 18v Ridgid stuff pretty much stays at home.

That's a pretty extreme test I would have used my M18 impact for that long ass lag lol but Glad to see even the M12 can do it too

You could make your own belt clip for the m12 like the dewalt. Is the dewalt still far lighter than the m12? You almost don't notice the dewalt hanging on your pocket.

Sometimes, too much power is not good. The 1st set of fastneners you put in, m12 went in further inside the wood. While Dewalt, a bit slow, you were able to put in clean.
I have m12 tools, but am tempted to change over to xtreme. m12 is a great tool with no one in its league. But power does not mean precision. I already switched to the xtreme hammer drill.

So I have the m12 and it has a larger diameter grip because of the battery

I just got the DeWalt 12 volt impact driver and the screw to connect belt clip is to long and prevents battery from going in

I have the DeWalt 12v drill and impact. Love them both.

I’m a Dewalt guy but I really like the small size of the Milwaukee

You can't beat Milwaukee for outright torque.

Great Video on comparison of the two drills. Would have been nice to know the price comparison too. I have an older 12 Volt Bosch basically shaped like the Milwaukee, but is not a Driver, but the battery comparison is physically the same size. But I've heard the talk about the Fuel and don't really know what that designates. So I'll have to look it up and the prices of the drills. Good Demo of both drills, I just like the slim battery size of the Milwaukee, and as you say, the Milwaukee Belt clip Sucks. That's the first thing I'd change. Maybe you should shoot a Suggestion to Milwaukee, then they could update that Clip. That's how they improve their Products and satisfy us Customers. Thanks for the Video, it was very informative.

Dewalt is way more comfortable. So is Metabo and Makita. Nobody beats Milwaukee for battery powered lighting though.
