Just snatched the Xtreme 12v Drill and Impact kit from lowes (Labor day sale $149). I'm impressed. I use my 2yo 12v Screwdriver all the time for light stuff that doesn't require me to break out the heavy 20v stuff, but I love the improvements like a Battery Fuel Gauge on the 2ohs, and the 3 settings on the impact, the drill is still rocking the cheesy chuck collet, but for $149 for both with batteries and a 112 charger it's not bad at all. I like the weight and compactness and I'm already heavily vested in the Yellers so...

It’s about time dewalt brings some tools that will keep up with the Milwaukee hopefully they deliver

Would love to see TTR vs DeWalt 12v Xtreme Impact vs Milwaukee 12v Fuel Gen 2 Impact....think could be a great matchup!👍🏻 Pricing is supposed to be $139.00 for the kit (estimate msrp)*

Vince, at 10:00, you start talking about the Milwaukee having higher RPM, and therefore the DW should be more precise, BUT...

You forgot to mention that the M12 FUEL Impact Driver has that 4 mode control to dial down the RPM’s and also the self tapping screw mode.

I sent DeWalt a copy of the link to the video and told them they need to send you the tools!

This has been needing to come out for a long time. Glad to see DeWalt bring out more options for a 12v lineS hope they expand on it like Milwaukee has done. Competition always makes for better tools.

5:43... Stanley Black & Decker has always used Unit Watts Out (UWO) on their drills.... their impacts drivers though, have always been measured in inch pounds...

I'm excited, as a primarily dewalt guy, BUT I'mma need to see what the new recip is gonna be before I'm sold. Loved the old one, but it's old as hell and I'm not rebuying one knowing it'll be the weak link paired up with the new impact, wrench, and drill. Give us a sweet new 12v recip, Dewalt, and I'll be seeing you soon lol

This comment section, WOW!
Milwaukee is king of what? A five week service backlog (how long I waited for my last Milwaukee tool I put in for service before giving away all of my Milwaukee power tools except my hard hat lamp)?
What you buy a 12V power tool for is not to have the most powerful tool you can, but you have a tool that’s lightweight and has endurance.
Take a long hard look around Milwaukee has the heaviest tool of any of its competitors.
You also see in this comment section people bragging about Milwaukee batteries, bragging about them being the best in the industry as they are the Achilles’ heel of the Milwaukee platform.
You also have red lithium Kool-Aid drinking folks who haven’t even seen these tools or held them in their hands talking about how their M12 tools are “lightyears further ahead”. 🤦🏼‍♂️

BTW it’s all over social media that those awesome carbide bits that every influencer was raving about now that they’re in hands of professionals there what? Straight garbage! 🤯

Really hope these come to the UK.
The 3/8 impact with those torque levels is perfect for automotive work!

I have Milwaukee 12v fuel drill and driver, very good tools but I don't like the forward and reverse switch. It doesn't seem to have a positive enough action and I am constantly having to mess around with it because I knock it out of engagement or it doesn't click over when I want it to. Never had that issue with my Dewalt.

Hmmm... Look like they should be good, but for most jobs I don't see a need for them instead of the 20V. Plus the M12 stoll look overall more compact. For mechanics too, the M12 line is definitely more useful. I love my 20V though, I'm not a shill everyone. Calm down. :P

Even people that hate DeWalt! Love Dewalt! So u know the review has to be done.😁😁😁. 12v line are good for roofer like me. I had to get the Milwaukee 12v line because Dewalt didn't have none. I deal with small tapcon on concrete roofs. And when the sun in Puerto Rico U.S.A beats you down. You need a hammer drill that's small and light weight. The same with impact driver and reciprocating saws. Small and compact.
