Guys, this was a very helpful video. It was long enough to get the whole process explained. I had a orange peel case that was much worse than this, and your process got it back to showroom condition. The wet sand paper makes all the difference. Keep up these great videos.

I paint and rebuild cars. I always lay more than enough clear down. 30min flash time and layer more clear in. Wet sanding, compound, and polishing I do anyway I try and blend the factory orange peel to the new panel unless you do the whole vehicle with 0 orange peel.
 Beautiful work guy great job!

When I first started painting, I used to color the whole panel. I quickly learned that there was a better way and that was when I learned to blend my basecoat. Depending on where the damage is located and how large the primed repair area is, I will either try to blend within the panel or if necessary I'll blend into surrounding panels. I didn't see the repair on this job but if you blended a little color into the rear door it would've looked much better. You can sometimes get away with not blending into the bumpers because most of the time they don't match anyway. Lastly, the sail panel blend looks like you taped a line and sprayed the base/clear right to the tape. There are definitely videos here on YouTube that show the right way to do it. Personally, I can do it but I usually just go all the way to the bottom of the front windshield. It doesn't take much more time to mask it and it certainly doesn't require much paint to get it done. Once you learn this stuff your life will be a lot less stressful. Best of luck to you ✌️

Beautiful job. I like the way you put the product on the car, the whole panel at a time, i'm going to try that. I learned from watching other people do it different ways, but your way looks like a lot less work and better results.

Best video on removing clearcoat mistakes the car we just bought is loaded with all types of clearcoat screw ups. You name it runs, overspray, orange peel the fellow we bought it from is a bodyman who works at a rather large shop a real slop jockey.

Never ever sand with your fingers forward. It will leave finger marks . Sand sideways so you have a more level sanding surface.
