I’d start with 1500 and 2 and then 3k if it belongs to a nice car but all dry sanding except for 3k.

many people use expensive spray guns but the result is still orenge peel. I have been working in spray for 25 years. but it's hard to have orenge peel. I use a spray gun, it's not expensive but the technique is important. do not follow the spray gun explanation. For example, the spray gun says 2bar, don't follow us, use your own method. Before we clear it, we do a trial run with the spray gun, try 2bar, the result is not good, we increase it to 2.5bar. If the result is not good, increase it to 3bar, if there is still a problem, we try to lower it to 1.8bar or 1.5bar there. kitw can know the weakness of the spray gun we have, good luck trying it friend

My whole car is orange peel is there an easier way ? Can you just add clear coat over orange peel?

Start, 1000-1200-1500-2000-3000..mirror results...give a try..I do 600 compound/yr..plus paint corrections from the paint shop..anyway..good job buddy

What liquids are you using, painted my car for the first time and have orange peel, know nothing about this and would appreciate some tips

There was 12 inch stripes at the bottom of my truck, I painted them the same OEM color as my truck and clear coated. I blended the base and clear into the oem paint about 6-8 inches. I have orange peel on the newly painted areas, would I polish cut and down the orange peel on just the newly painted areas, or polish the whole truck?

When you sand do you actually remove all of the clear coat or just a fraction of it?
And if you remove it all, then why do you polish afterwards without applying clear coat?

I did carbon dipping for my bike parts i use spray can clear coat almost 3 coats got orange peel can i sand it and polish?
