I always had issues painting white cars and I saw your flashlight on your gun and I never thought of that, that is a great idea . Thank you

We used to call the second coat of clear "the money coat". Lol That laid out nice! I bet it even buried and flowed out the little specs of lint in the first coat, usually does in white. This is the second instructional video of yours I've watched, I caught the body filler one earlier. Another good one man! 👍Thanks for setting a good example and using safety equipment! I've seen so many painting videos with the folks standing in a cloud of eurethane with no respirator. My advice, pay attention if you want to learn, he's the real he just got a new subscriber 👍

One of the best demonstrations I've seen regarding spraying. I've been working on this and already have some idea what I need to do and you confirmed and showed it.

Very nice! Whenever I paint anything I screw up something, if it can go wrong, with me it does! Considering how long I've been "painting" you'd think I get better! You make it look so easy. Nice videos!

Another long time painter said there is too much emphasis on flat clear today and that a good painter knows how to spray the right peel for the job. I thought that was a good point if doing collision work. If all you do is glass, your collision work is gonna look wrong. I seem to be in the niche of painting old cars right now, so I am looking for flat so I can avoid excessive sanding and buffing. I still wetsand and buff every old car. You know those old car guys are picky even if you give 'em a great price...

Never forget about the edges from the jamb side.

Yeah, looks like good bit of peel on camera. Maybe not in person. I usually spray clear like you showed with exception of psi. 22 to 24 seems to be sweet spot for me with very little peel

I used this same aeropro to spray the primer and base, but changed the gun tips for each. 2.0 for primer, 1.7 for base, and for the clear the 1.3 (30psi finish 1). Got a bunch of orange peel all other layers came out fine. The video didn't mention the gun tip and was wondering about that since you did base and clear. Thanks for all your great content, way better suited for the more advanced diy.
