I bought my tv thinking when it was off and in standby it would use .04 watts of power but instead my new 50” tv uses 13 watts turned off. Think about the power just leaving it off for the whole month and if you have more than 1 tv. 13 watts x 24 hr x 30 days = 9, 360 watts per month just to leave the tv off and if you have multiple tv’s.
