2 install a tankless water heater - heat water directly

Outlet and wall switch insulation kits are available, inexpensive, and easy to install. Remove an outlet cover on a windy day. You'll probably feel a bit of air moving. They DO make an improvement.

As a plumber, if you want to see a plumber less you would want more water being flushed down to help push everything. You would be suprised on how much houses i have to go to becuase theres a blockage or partial blockage down the line or an apartment is leaking into another becuase of said blockage.
