Is it Worth Keeping a Fazua Ride 60 bike?? (Transition Relay)

After waiting nearly 2 months I am finally glad to have my Transition relay back! I submitted a warranty claim back at the end of July and just now (beginning of October) got my bike back. I will go more into detail on my whole warranty process in the next video. In this video I will be talking about what I will be doing this bike and if I should sell it because of all the FAZUA Ride 60 problems.

Curious when you got your warranty ticket, did the shop remove the motor immediately and send it back to Fazua North America HQ? Or, did they wait til they got the new warranty motor and then do the swap - allowing you to potentially ride your Relay withouth the battery as an 'acoustic' bike? I've got over 700 miles on my Relay and curious about the process you went thru.

Bought my Relay last June so still less than a year... No issues with the motor but make sure not to overtighten the ring controller. That can cause weird glitches with the power. Also open up the controller and clean it out from time to time. Gunk builds up and can hamper the controls.

That's a long wait for a new motor. I hope mine is a little more reliable but it sounds like the replacement rate is pretty high. I think you made the right call in keeping the Relay as you are right at how well the bike handles. It's crazy good. The only other bike that I liked a lot was the Heckler SL, but it too has the Fazua Ride 60!

It’s so weird to see so many people with Fazua problems. I have 2 bikes now, and had a third, with the ride 60 and never had an issue with any of them. My Relay and Skitch get used a lot and no issues over the last year.

I just got the relay due to it being a sweet looking bike and super capable but did your LBS have to send your old motor in to get a new one that’s why it took long?

I agree with you. It’s an incredible motor/bike when it works. I’m experiencing intermittent issues with mine, like motor cutting in and out, assistance issues plus battery warning light issues. The motor only has 200kms on it. A new firmware update has just been released so I might try that and see how it goes

I just bought the YT Decoy SN brand new from their site. Also has the Fazua 60 motor. Didn't realize there were so many issues with the motor until after i made the purchase. Hopefully i didn't buy some old inventory and got a newer motor. Now i am wondering if should buy a spare motor lol. Not even sure where to buy one.

When is your new one produced? You can check connecting it to a notebook running the fazua sw. Mine is from Jan 2024, 2300km meanwhile, fingers crossed 😃

(Patiently waits to buy an ebike for companies to get their shit together)

if I buy one it's going to be one with that badass new Bosch motor. the experiences I'm hearing for practically every other motor brand says to me ebikes still aren't quite ready for market. in any respectable way.

I sent 2 transition relays back...both motors were bad and the bikes were poorly built.
