I use NYLOG BLUE its a gasket and thread sealant for the flare fittings on a Mini split AC unit. A Mini split runs a pressure of over 400 psi. NYLOG BLUE never gets hard or dry it stays tacky. When used the NYLOG keeps the extensions from vibrating lose and causing a slow air leak.

They have steel ones that extend from the inside tire outwards that’d probably work better IMO. I used these long extensions when I was in trucking. Thanks for sharing! ~Jim~
