I honestly think the US border policy is far too weak. Very few other countries in the world permit someone to waltz right in and then immediately demand legal defense, rights, and getting to hang out for months or even years before appearing before a judge. No; in most countries of the world, if you try to sneak in, you would be either deported, imprisoned, or shot. If you want to immigrate to the USA, come through legally. Why should someone who is waiting in the immigration queue for years to come to USA be forced to wait while others can just walk across the border and skip the line? It is illegal and simply wrong.
