Privilege Walk

The purpose of this Privilege Walk is to bring light and knowledge to those within our community, of the “unseen” privileges of your peers, friends, classmates, and students. The word privilege means,” a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group.” It is not meant to bring harm, disrespect, belittling, guilt, or shame to yourself or who you are. We wanted to share with our channel a Privilege Walk we hosted in order to bring to light these "unseen" advantages within our own community!

When you receive a free lunch from school based on financial needs then that is a privilege or special right and the people should step forward not backward. the first example, step forward if you are white male does not even outline a special privilege. the prejudice and bias in the moderation is amazing. having clean or dirty clothes is not a special privilege or right or lack of rights. having money to spend on sat prep course is not a special privilege or right or lack thereof. when you present questions intended to skew results then you will have the results that you want to see. this class is lost and without critical thought or the ability to express critical thought and have to use a single word to try to encapsulate it. that isn't education it is like a gym class with a psychic wizard parrot at the helm.
