This is disgusting. Skin color has nothing to do with privilege. You work hard and you do your absolute best to overcome adversity and strive to be better than the day before. Your past does not make your future.

This is teaching kids to hate someone because of their passed family members choices to either acquire wealth and financial independence or be a bum and not think about their children's future and blame it all on race and hold their hands out.

My wife is black, grew up in the ghettos where shootings happened everyday until her mother and father made the choice for their children's future and moved out of the gang rittled neighborhood. She is educated and has more/makes more money than I do but I dont think shes privileged, I think and I KNOW she worked her butt off to get where she is at right now.

She now works in a title 1 school and it is her life goal to educate these young children to be better for the future of our country, not because they are poor, or less fortunate but because she feels it is her god given duty to help, teach, and love, not create and encourage hate and division among races.

If you want to teach children about life paths and things that come up in peoples lives that make things harder for some and not others then teach a class about that. Dont teach these kids that just because their skin color is darker that they are perpetually going to be put down by the system. That is a bold faced lie.

I love it! As a member of my school’s Student Council, I’ve been wanting to see if my school could do something like this. This is great!
