Once a promising young witch in the Coven of the New Moon, the ambitious Khara ignored the first rule of pact magic: one may only serve a single master. In search for more power, she attempted to offer her services to two demons at once. Unfortunately for her, demons do not appreciate mortals' attempts at cleverness.

Her master transformed her into a goblin, a foul fae-creature towards which the peoples of Sahnbrad offer no mercy. The other demon cursed her with immortality. Unable to die and untrusted by all with functioning eyeballs, but still bound by her original pact, a vindictive Khara now wanders in search of ways to escape her fate.
